Location

From the lakeside Villettepark to the Städtlerwald to the north, you’re never far from the glories of nature in Cham. This village lies in the heart of central Switzerland, in the low tax canton of Zug. It is on the shores of Lake Zug, with plenty of mountain scenery besides. Sustainability

Some 40% of the electricity requirement is generated from hydropower and photovoltaic systems on the site itself. Not only that, but geothermal probes ensure a completely self-sufficient supply of cooling and heating to all of the buildings. The Papieri Energy Cluster is one of a kind and fully carbon neutral.

Connections to the wider world: from here, Zurich Airport is just half an hour’s drive, while two bus routes stop right outside the neighborhood. Papieri has superb transport connections. Various transport-sharing initiatives provide a sustainable dimension to the options.
