3rd construction stage

The view onto Knonauerstrasse

The third phase of construction is the side of the Papieri development overlooking Knonauerstrasse. Buildings E and F will be constructed on a single base and divided into three sections. The size of these smaller structures will chime with the existing buildings in the surrounding area. Groundbreaking Ceremony

On July 18, 2023, the Cham Group celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the third construction phase of the Papieri site in the presence of architects, planners, entrepreneurs and prominent politicians. After around one and a half years of dedicated planning, construction has officially started on this construction site.

Working and shopping

The largest proportion of rental space for commercial use on the Papieri site will be created in the third phase of construction, with around 12,500 m2 of office, commercial and retail space. Flexible use is the top priority in planning.

From offices to Industry 4.0
Rental spaces that can accommodate payloads of 1,000 kg/m2 and have room heights of over 6 m allow for almost any type of use. Tenants are free to decide whether to install an intermediate ceiling to enlarge the usable floor area. The premises also feature impressive entrance areas, spacious lift systems designed to support a range of payloads, plenty of storage space in the basements, delivery facilities and high-quality breakout areas in the roof gardens for employee use. Retail spaces of various sizes are available on the first floor of each building.

Green lane

The lane between the two buildings will be densely planted and attractively landscaped. Large trees in tree pits will spread their branches over perennials, shrubs and gravel expanses to provide shade and places for residents, workers, visitors and customers to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

The abundant greenery will be framed by a patterned pavement made of concrete slabs, for safe strolling and shopping. The roof gardens and the façades on either side of the lane will be planted using plant supports.

Rental apartments

A total of 60 rental apartments will be built on around 6,500 m2 in Building E from the third story upwards. Twenty of these will be affordable homes. A range of apartment types is being built, from simple studios with 1.5 rooms to beautiful and spacious 6.5-room apartments. Two-story maisonettes and attractive corner apartments are also planned for the location.

Spacious outdoor area
The spacious private outdoor areas expand the living space into the outdoors. The apartments on the fifth floor also have a private seating area on the roof terrace.
